The past two and a half weeks have been fantastic! The five of us – Gordon, Laurie, Gretchen, Kris and Caroline divided destinations, logged miles across eight states and enjoyed visiting with old campers, new campers and prospective families in 13 cities! In week one, just before halloween, Gretchen and Caroline gathered with our Nashville and Birmingham campers while Gordon and Laurie enjoyed a trip to sunny Florida to see the Tampa and Ormond beach girls. They left Florida and headed north a bit where Laurie visited with the Savannah campers. Week two took Laurie, Kris and Caroline to Charlotte, Gordon to the Longhorn state with stops in Houston and Dallas, Laurie to New Orleans and Mobile, Laurie and Caroline to Greenville and finally, returning today, Gretchen and Kris to Greensboro and Columbia. And Dave? He has been holding down the fort at camp. The shows come at such a great time. We miss all of our campers and the energy they bring so it is marvelous to gather together with many reminders of our heavenly summers!
