An Illahee contingent had a magical weekend celebrating Daniela’s marriage. Her wedding in Greenville, SC was an international event with all of her family travelling in from Guatemala. Held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the wedding was a traditional orthodox ceremony and Daniela was a beautiful bride. Illahee girls of all ages travelled from Fort Lauderdale, Oxford, MS, Athens, GA, Atlanta, Orlando and Chapel Hill and nearby from Spartanburg. We had a great time sporting Illahee dance moves – our summer DJ Marcus would have been proud of our “Cupid Shuffle” and “Macarena” and of course, we sang the Pine Tree song as we surrounded Daniela. She looked like a movie star and we felt like the paparazzi snapping her photos. It was a wonderful evening filled with Illahee friends and good wishes.
