I am VERY excited to start Illahee’s “Five by Five” postings for the 2012 season. Beginning today and continuing for consecutive Tuesdays (at minimum) we will unveil by 5:00 PM (in no particular order) the amazing counselors who will be spending their summer in the Heavenly World. Many of the faces will be familiar because once again, we have a terrific group of returning counselors!  Some will be friends of familiar faces since many of Illahee’s counselors are referred to camp because of a previous successful working experience. And some will be brand new faces and will bring a fresh new perspective to camp. In all cases we are at it again…hiring the Cream of the Crop!

Kamber Stefany: Returning for her third year on staff, Kamber brings a terrific presence to Hillbrook and to the activities she leads. She will graduate in May and spend another summer in the Heavenly World before entering Law School in the fall. Little known fact, Kamber scored in the 98% on her LSAT! WooHoo! We are thrilled to share this summer with her.

Lilie Jane Hudson: Lilie Jane is enjoying her sophomore year at W&L in Lexington, Virginia. This summer will be her 13^th summer at Illahee, her 4^th on staff and her 2^nd on Pineview! We can’t wait to enjoy Lilie Jane’s enthusiasm and love of camp for another summer! Her energy and leadership is contagious!

Callie Jewett: In an exciting skype session while Callie was in London this fall, we learned that academia was indeed going to allow for another summer at camp! We thought Callie was going to have to take summer classes prior to her senior year at Wake Forest but that is no longer the case! Instead she will be back at camp for her 13^th summer. Once again you will find her on Heigh Ho and…maybe leading napkin balls?!?

Lindsey Guye: We are thrilled that Lindsey will be returning for another summer of strong leadership at camp. Lindsey is always open for new challenges and for “whatever we need” to help make the summer the BEST summer EVER! Where will you find her this summer? Hillbrook? Heigh Ho? Drama? Swim lake? You’ll have to wait and see!!

Becca Vinson: This JUST in, a bit of Hot off the Press news: Becca will also be back at camp this summer for her third summer on staff! Becca is a junior at Chapel Hill and brings such a positive, intentional and fun energy to camp. We look forward to her leadership on Pineview as well as in activities. We can’t wait to share the summer with her and are so, so happy with her decision to return!
