
From I-40, pick up I-26 S/E (Hendersonville/ Spartanburg exit). Take exit 40 (Brevard/Asheville Regional Airport/Arden) and turn right from the I-26 exit ramp onto Hwy. 280 West. Follow Hwy. 280 West past the airport to Brevard (approximately 15 miles). Hwy. 280 becomes Hwy. 64 West. Continue straight through Brevard. (Hwy. 64 turns into Broad Street as you pass through Brevard.) After you pass the John Deere dealership on the right of Hwy. 64 West, turn left at the top of the hill onto Illahee Road. Follow the road one half-mile as it winds up and down a hill; at the bottom of the hill, the driveway to Camp Illahee turns off to the right.
Take I-85 North to South Carolina state line. Take exit 1 (South Carolina Visitor's Center) and turn left onto Hwy. 11. Follow Hwy. 11 (about 32 miles) to Citgo Station on left. Turn left beside Texaco station onto N. Little River Road. Follow N. Little River Road until it dead-ends at Hwy. 130 (Whitewater Falls Road). Turn left onto Hwy. 130 which will later change to Hwy. 281 at the North Carolina state line. Follow Hwy. 281 to Hwy. 64 East and turn right onto Hwy. 64. Follow Hwy. 64 East (about 15-18 miles) to Illahee Road (2 miles after Hwy. 64 widens to 4 lanes). Turn right onto Illahee Road and follow the road one half-mile, as it winds up and down a hill; at the bottom of the hill, the driveway to Camp Illahee turns off to the right.
Take I-26 West to Hendersonville, N.C. Take exit 18B/Hwy. 64 West through Hendersonville. Follow Hwy. 64 West for about 18 miles; at the stoplight before the entrance to Pisgah Forest, Hwy. 64 West turns left and continues through Brevard. Follow Hwy. 64 West through Brevard. (Hwy. 64 turns into Broad Street as you pass through Brevard.) After you pass the John Deere dealership on the right of Hwy. 64 West, turn left at the top of the hill onto Illahee Road. Follow the road one half-mile as it winds up and down a hill; at the bottom of the hill, the driveway to Camp Illahee turns off to the right.
