The New Year has brought Dave Hartsock to our year round team. Illahee campers have known Dave for the past seven summers as Illahee’s fantastic tennis director. After Christmas, Dave moved to Brevard from Dayton Ohio where he had been teaching and coaching high school boys and girls tennis. Dave is thrilled to be working year round at Illahee as our program director. “I love being a part of a place that does so much that is positive for kids. At Illahee, I feel that we are changing lives for the better.” In addition to getting to know his way around the newly renovated office, Dave is focusing on camp activity development. He will be making sure that every activity at camp is as awesome as the tennis program that he has developed at Illahee. And as Dave says on the courts, “Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!”
