Cost of Attendance and Lodging

The cost of the event per person is $300 for the weekend. This price does not include lodging. Lodging in camp is currently full and individuals who are registered from the waiting list will need to arrange their own lodging. Any proceeds beyond covering the cost of the event will go directly to our Camper Scholarship Fund. Payments will be fully refundable if registration is cancelled by May 1st, 2025.

There are hotel and short-term vacation rental options in the area. Please note that homes within a large area will be listed as "Brevard", so be sure to check the map location of the home to ensure that it is a reasonable distance to camp.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE

In consideration of my participation in the Alumnae Weekend Reunion at Camp Illahee, Inc., I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand and acknowledge that I may choose to participate in a variety of outdoor activities while on the Camp Illahee’s property that could result in death, serious bodily injury, serious injury to my general health and well-being, and impairment of my future ability to earn a living, to engage in business, social, educational, and recreational activities, and generally to enjoy life. I understand and acknowledge that these outdoor activities are inherently dangerous and that Camp Illahee makes no warranties, implied or otherwise as to the safety of the property or any equipment, permanent or temporary, which may be found or located on the property. I further covenant that I am the age of majority (18 years) in the State of North Carolina and can legally sign this document as an adult.

Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

This is a legal release of liability. Read carefully before signing.
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE RIGHT TO GO UPON, TRAVEL ACROSS, ENTER UPON AND USE THE REAL PROPERTY OF CAMP ILLAHEE DURING THE ALUMNAE REUNIONS WEEKEND, I PERSONALLY ASSUME ALL RISKS INCIDENT TO THE USE OF SUCH PROPERTY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH HIKING, SWIMMING, BOATING OR IN ANY MANNER USING THE LAKES, AS WELL AS CAMPFIRE ACTIVITIES AND CELEBRATIONS. (HEREAFTER COLLECTIVELY “OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES”). I ALSO FULLY AND FOREVER WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE THE OWNERS, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FROM ALL LIABILITIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION, DEMANDS OR COSTS OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH MY, OR MY CHILDREN’S OR MY SPOUSE’S USE OF THE OWNER’S PROPERTY, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF OWNERS, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS OR BY SOME OTHER ATTENDEE AT THE EVENT, OR CAUSED BY SOME OTHER MEANS. I HEREBY AGREE NOT TO FILE SUIT AGAINST CAMP ILLAHEE, THE OWNERS, OR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS. I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE OWNERS, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION, DEMANDS OR COSTS OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER THAT MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH MY, MY SPOUSE’S, OR MY CHILD’S USE OF THE PROPERTY INCLUDING ANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE OWNER, THEIR EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS OR CAUSED BY SOME OTHER MEANS. THE TERMS OF THIS RELEASE SHALL BIND ME, MY CHILD, AND OUR HEIRS, ASSIGNS, BENEFICIARIES, ESTATE AND PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES.

Camp Illahee, Inc. Reunion Drug and Alcohol Policy

Please read the following agreement carefully before signing the document. Camp Illahee, Inc. is committed to creating the safest and best environment for campers and staff each summer, while maintaining this community throughout the off-season.

Failure to comply with this agreement jeopardizes the future of Illahee and may result in immediate dismissal from camp property.

Use of drugs and alcohol results in impaired judgment and poses a safety risk to self and others:

Camp Illahee complies with state and local laws concerning alcohol consumption. At no time during the event should minors under 21 years of age be drinking alcoholic beverages or be served by those of age.
Camp Illahee owners and employees reserve the right to refuse entry on to the property if a person appears to be intoxicated when he or she arrives on property or at any time while on property.
We reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
Those who are 21 or older who do consume alcoholic beverages during their time on camp property are expected to act in an orderly fashion.
We stress the significant danger of drinking and driving on roads and encourage extreme discretion in this area. Plan ahead to have designated drivers or coordinate other transportation for you and your party.
We will not tolerate the use of non-prescription drugs, marijuana, or inhalants while you are on Camp Illahee’s property.
